How do I delete my account?

To permanently delete your account, please do the following:
• Open Glimr;
• Go to your Profile (last icon in the bottom menu);
• Tap the Settings icon;
• Scroll down to the "Account" section and tap "Delete Account";
• Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen.
Result: Your profile and data will be permanently deleted from our system. This action is irreversible.

Sign-up Data: To create an account on Glimr, you need to provide basic personal information, such as your name, date of birth, and at least one profile picture. We may take additional steps to verify your identity and ensure that you meet age requirements for safety purposes.

Your Interactions with Us: If you contact us for support, report other users, or request privacy-related actions (e.g., data deletion), we collect and process that information. These interactions are not visible to other users.
Your Location: With your permission, we collect GPS data to provide location-based features and help you connect with people nearby. We also collect approximate location data (e.g., your city) derived from your IP address for better service delivery.
Content You Share: When you interact with others on Glimr (e.g., sending messages or posting content), we process and store the data, including technical details such as timestamps and device information. Content shared with others may be saved or shared outside the platform by the users who receive it, so please be cautious when sharing personal or sensitive information.
Access to Your Device: To use certain features, like uploading photos or videos, you will need to grant Glimr access to your camera and media.
